This Privacy Policy applies to the FlatShare mobile application and website operated by Ignivex Solutions. By using FlatShare, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use FlatShare, and information from third-party services you connect.

- Within Your Flat: Expense and member information is visible to other members of the same flat — this is core to FlatShare's functionality.
- Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating our app (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics).
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
Section 04
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services:
- Account Data: Retained for the account lifetime plus 30 days after deletion to allow account recovery.
- Flat & Expense Data: Retained as long as the flat exists. When deleted, associated data is purged within 30 days.
- Log Data: Automatically deleted after 90 days.
- Backup Data: Retained for up to 6 months in encrypted backups before permanent deletion.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@flatmate.ignivexsolutions.com.

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/SSL connections
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
- API authentication is handled via secure Bearer tokens (Laravel Sanctum)
- Database access is restricted to authorized services only
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Automatic session expiration and token invalidation on logout
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use a strong, unique password and keep your login credentials private.

Children's Privacy
FlatShare is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us personal information, we will promptly delete it.

Third-Party Services
FlatShare may integrate with or link to third-party services. This policy does not apply to those third parties. Third-party services we may use include:
- Google Play Store / Apple App Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases.

- Email Delivery Services: For sending transactional emails (invitations, password resets).
- Cloud Hosting Providers: For secure data storage and application hosting.
